Barbara Hand Clow masterfully describes the different planetary cycles that influence our psyche in her book “Astrology and the Rising of Kundalini.” This book allowed me to be forewarned about the surge in energy I was about to experience in my psyche/body. This is the book to buy your friends turning 40-45.

We don’t have to go through energetic upheavals unconsciously and feel like a victim. If we are forewarned we can accommodate new energies and plan some quiet time accordingly. Around age 40 it is time to start clearing the energy field of old energy on a regular basis with acupuncture, dream analysis, yoga, BodyTalk, tuning forks, etc.  At 50 I went for certification in Hatha Yoga at Ecole Satyam in Montreal. There is an abundance of information about kundalini in the yoga community. I was amazed at how quickly my body transformed with regular practice.  If you have never tried yoga be curious.  If you have different yoga options in your community try all of them.  Ask questions.  Surround yourself with grounded healthy curious people. We can only create a conscious society one person at a time and no one else can clean and prepare your biofield for you.

I am currently reading Richard Gordon’s Quantum Touch: The Power to Heal. He mentions one of my favorite books, Jean Liedloff’s The Continuum Concept and I will share what he writes, “she discussed how children of the stone age Yequana Indians, living in a “primitive” community in the Brazilian jungle, were held constantly when they were young. As the children grew up, they exhibited no violent behavior. In her two and one half years with this tribe, she realized that children willingly obeyed their elders, and that toddlers played peacefully together without arguing or fighting. Consider that in our “modern” society, it is still a common practice for babies to be separated from their mothers at birth due to medical interventions in maternity wards. These isolated babies hear nothing but the crying of other newborns. Away from the arms of their mothers, they cry themselves to sleep.”

Gordon continues, ” The question I am raising is this: What is touch, and what makes it so important? If touch were merely physical contact, a mechanical rocker and a moving piece of rabbit fur could provide a baby’s touch needs. But I do not believe that the value of touch is merely physical. I believe that it is much more than just the mechanics of being stroked. In my opinion, the true value of touch is the life-force energy and the love – in that touch.”  I would say the frequency and intention of that touch.   What is your experience with healing touch?

If you are curious about the darkside of the lack of touch on children and their behavior as adults, I recommend Dr. Bruce Perry’s book The Boy Who Was Raised as a Dog.  Of course, the TV and newspaper headlines remind us everyday of the consequences of lack of touch.

– reach out to chiropractors, yoga centers, acupuncturists, homeopathic doctors, BodyTalk practitioners

It’s a great investment and you will learn so much about yourself and human nature and you will immediately become part of a global network dedicated to reducing human suffering.

She shares this information with the local school board.  She then decided to test the classrooms and discovered that certain desks were located over earth radiation.  She implements a plan to rotate where the students sit during the school year so that no one person is exposed for long to the radiation.  Other schools call her because they want their classrooms checked out as well. Soon the brave science teacher is sharing her research with medical doctors, architects, parents and town planning officials. 

This is not a fairy tale. Kathe Bachler is the brave science teacher and her book Earth Radiation is required reading for any dowser or geobiologist interested in the subject. She taught in Salzburg, Austria, and news of her research spread throughout the German speaking countries. Many doctors in Germany are educated about Earth Radiation thanks to her decades of research and her book.

Because his parents were students of Rudolf Steiner, young Jacques learns German. Because he is blind he must exercise his memory to accomplish his schoolwork. Both of these skills will be essential when the Nazis invade France in 1939. At 17, Jacques takes it upon himself to organize the other schoolboys into a resistance group. Because the press is controlled by the Germans, Jacques decides to print his own paper, collecting news from reliable sources and distributing it through a network of young boys.  

After losing his sight at age 8, Jacques makes two important discoveries: the first is that he can still see light and colors so he understands that the source of light is not the outer world, the second discovery is that the amount of light he perceives changes with his emotions, whenever he feels sadness or fear or impatience the light goes out and he is blind, but when he feels joy and love he sees with much greater precision and clarity.  So what he discovers at an early age is that he has the power to turn on the light by calling forth the feeling of love within himself, and this he does under the most dire circumstances.

These discoveries would lead to others. He talks about the power of attention, the power of being completely in the present and that without this ability of focused attention in the present we will never be able to perfect ourselves.

This attention or wakefulness as he sometimes calls it leads him to another discovery, the perception of subtle pressure emanating from every object and living thing, regardless of distance.

Without the distractions of superficiality, Jacques is able to observe the workings of the spirit or metaphysical realm.  For example he discovers the observer. “I recognized that there was indeed someone watching. Someone watching deep within. But this spectator himself did not have a history. And for him, linear space had no meaning whatsoever.”  This leads him to look beyond the screen of images in his head, “in some way into pure light.”  And when he puts himself in touch with that pure light all that remains is intense joy.

One of his most important essays is The Pollution of the I.So what is this pollution of the I? And what is this I?  Jacques was writing in the late 1960s. Rivers and lakes were catching fire from the chemicals dumped into them. With his wealth of inner experience, Jacques is able to make the connections of outer pollution which captures the headlines and an inner pollution of the soul, the I, which goes unnoticed by the ‘seeing’ because we are so easily distracted by the ego and our senses.
